Its a very simple 1-2-3 process.
Step 1 : Slice off the top stem.
Step 2 : Cut the Capsicum/Bell Pepper into halves and clear out the seeds in the cavity.
Step 3: Lay down the half face down, and slice it like so.
In case you want to chop then, just turn this bunch around by 90 degrees and slice again.

The terms “bell pepper”, “pepper” or in Australia and New Zealand “capsicum”, are often used for any of the large bell shaped fruits, regardless of their color.
