The Various Variations of Hot Chocolate Part 3.
As the unexpected Mumbai cold weather continues, so does the Hot Chocolate series. Next up on the list, is the very sensual, very delectable, very bold, very addictive *drum roll* Irish Hot Chocolate.
No, this Hot Chocolate isn’t green in colour. The only thing making this drink Irish, is the presence of the flavorsome Bailey’s Irish Cream. This liquor has knocked my socks off since the first moment we met. Which led to the birth of the line, ‘Everything is better with Bailey’s!’
Okay, maybe not. But that doesn’t make the line any less true.
And boy oh boy, does it make a mug of Hot Chocolate better.
I present to you, the Irish Hot Chocolate.

NOM BAILEYS.
Always!
where do you get stuff like Bailey’s Irish Cream and the Kraft tiny marshmallows?
Bailey’s is an Irish Whiskey & Cream based liqueur, so you’ll get that in the better liquor stores. While I picked up the Kraft Tiny Marshmallows from Godrej’s Nature’s Basket outlet.
Can I have some now? Yum!

Om-nom YES.
I think I will try this, though I’ll need to replace the milk with soy milk as my body doesn’t love cow’s milk. D: (I do realise Bailey’s has cream, heh, but I *can* take that stuff in small doses.) I am worried and skeptical about how soy will go with Bailey’s, but we’ll see.

I am a great great Bailey fan…..And I have a better variation of this recipe for the hot chocolate …. Instead of just broken Chocolate pieces, add 2 table spoons of Nutella (Chocolate spread) in to the warm milk and stir in……
Nutella is the Chocolate spread made by the Ferrero Roche Chocolate company…..Bloody brilliant taste….Finally add the Baileys….If Possible, add Bailey’s Chocolate Flavour Liquor instead of Bailey Coffee Flavour or Original…..
Thanks for the suggestion Vindi! Have made hot chocolate with Bailey and Nutella separately but never together. But definitely sounds worth a try. Like they say, too much of a good thing can only be wonderful 🙂
