The countdown for the best Hot Chocolate Variations continues.
The most ‘facepalm-I-can’t-believe-I-never-thought-of-this-before’ variation of Hot Chocolate has got to be the one starring the ever glamorous spread – Nutella.
Nutella has supreme magical powers of its own. Magical powers with an aftertaste of hazelnut, of course. So putting it together in a comforting hot drink was an obvious extension from licking it shamelessly off the jar.
So to fight the chills in style, Nutella Hot Chocolate to the rescue.
Nutella Hot Chocolate
Serves : 1 huge mug.
Difficulty : Easy Peasy. When that MS fellow in Amreeka can make it too, why can’t you?
Preparation Time : Nothing.
Cook Time :3 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp of Nutella
As Julie Andrews and the Jackson 5 once agreed, there really isn’t anything simpler than the Do-Re-Mi or the A-B-C . I’m sure if they knew of the Nutella Hot Chocolate recipe, they’d incorporate it into the songs somehow. (I have complete faith in Julie Andrews.)
So all you need to do is -
1 – Add the milk in a saucepan, and put it on a medium-low heat.

2 – Once warmed up, take it off the heat and drop in the Nutella scoops. (Lick of the excess from the spoon)

3 – Whisk.

And done!
Pour it out in a mug,and gulp it down.
Then make another glass. Be generous and sprinkle some chocolate shavings at the top. And then slowly sip and relish the chocolate-y and hazelnut-y warm reassurance in a cup.
For the late night versions, no need for 1-2-3 even! All we need is milk in a cup, heat in a microwave, and whisk in the nutella. Presto!
Don’t you just love quick fixes like these?
