In a life of constant stress, madness and chaos, you need a day or two off.
And on that day off, you need a pillar of support. A shoulder to lean on, if I may. A listening ear.
Yes, what you think I’m implying is absolutely correct. These 3 ingredient Nutella Brownies are all the support you need when you take a day off from your chaotic, stress full lives.
Their super fudgy interior, crunchy exterior, smooth chocolate hazelnut taste and needing only one bowl to clean up after are the reasons this brownie transcends its duty of just tasting brilliant. This brownie is so talented, that it takes you away from your day. It engulfs you in a warm hug. It also listens patiently when you rant about the obstacles of the week.
(Please, I possibly can’t be the only one talking to her brownies. You tell me you’ve never uttered out a ‘Oh my God. You’re so delicious. Okay, I don’t care if I have to run a bit longer today – but I’m definitely going to have one more.’ to them!)
Not to mention, these warm fugdy brownies are a perfect pick me up after a long unintentional walk in the rain – you know, because Mumbai Monsoon is crazy.
As promised, you only need 3 things for these brownies.
This obviously can be substituted by any other chocolate nut spread. But yes, really. This is it.
First, unravel the Nutella goodness. Savour those heart flutters you get. This is the everything of these brownies. All you need is one big bowl.
Surrender all of the Nutella into the bowl.
Add in the two eggs. (Yes, people who post recipes online break eggs too. We’re human too.)
Whisk the in egg for 2 minutes or so till it disappears completely, leaving this gooey delicious batter.
Dump in the flour.
Fold it in, till all is chocolate-y with the world.
Butter a baking pan, pour it in.
In it goes in the oven, at a preheated oven at 180ºC for 30 min – or until the toothpick comes out clean.
[BONUS!]
MEANWHILE, the cook needs its perks. You remember all that Nutella goodness that refused to come out of the jar? That’s all your now.
Lets make a little drink for us, shall we?
Its as simple, as pouring in some milk into the almost Nutella jar.Shaking the jar to the point of making Taylor Swift proud (Sorry, not sorry!). Taking the lid off the reveal the mostly lovely, frothy chocolate hazelnut milk. Stick a straw into the jar and enjoy your break!
(FYI, this is also brilliant for an early morning milk twist – or even as a base for your daily oats!)
[BONUS Over]
After the milk is gone, and toothpick is clean – the most breathtaking fragrance will over take your kitchen and this crinkly gorgeous entity will emerge.
To give you a sense of its fudgy crinkly goodness, let this image register.
Stack them up, and revel in their beauty
Sprinkle some cocoa on the top, and deepen the flavour.
Or even some powdered sugar, if you swing that way!
Pour out another glass of milk, a builders mug full of coffee or even nothing at all.
HOW DAMNED DELICIOUS ARE THESE.
Bring in more chaos, universe!
I deserve some more of these brownies.
